Publisher and Ownership
The journal is published by Biobilim, a non-commercial scientific publishing entity founded in 2021 by the late Associate Professor Dr. Murat Erdoğan. Following his passing in 2023, ownership and management of Biobilim and Atlantic J Med Sci Res were transferred to Dr. Esra Kayacan Erdoğan, who now serves as the publisher. Biobilim’s business model is based on promoting equitable, open-access publishing without financial barriers for readers and authors. The journal is fully funded by Biobilim, which ensures that all publishing costs are covered, and there are no submission or publication fees.
