The Atlantic Journal of Medical Science and Research is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal.

Fee-Based Publication Model
As of December 15, 2025, based on the decision of the Editorial Board, the journal applies a fee policy to provide high-quality scientific content to its readers and to support the open-access principle.
This policy has been established to ensure the sustainability of the journal and to maintain the quality of its publishing services.
No fee is charged at the time of initial manuscript submission.
Editorial Pre-Evaluation and Processing Fee
All submitted manuscripts undergo a preliminary editorial assessment to evaluate:
• Scope and structural suitability
• Ethical compliance
• Adherence to journal policies
No fee is charged at the time of initial manuscript submission.
If a manuscript passes this initial assessment and is deemed suitable for further consideration, an Editorial Evaluation and Processing Fee may be requested before the manuscript is sent for peer review.
This fee:
• Is not a submission fee
• Is not an acceptance or publication fee
• Does not guarantee acceptance
• Is independent of peer-review outcomes
Peer Review and Editorial Independence
All manuscripts are evaluated through an independent and unbiased peer-review process.
Editorial decisions are based solely on scientific merit and ethical standards and are not influenced by any payments made.
Publication Fees
If a manuscript passes the editorial pre-evaluation and an Editorial Evaluation and Processing Fee is requested, the current fee amount is:
8,500 TL (Turkish Lira) or 200 USD (United States Dollars) per manuscript.
No fee is charged at the time of initial submission.
This fee is not an acceptance or publication fee.
Payment does not guarantee acceptance.
Editorial and peer-review decisions are independent of any payment.
The journal applies a uniform and transparent fee policy.
No fee waivers or discounts are offered.

Collected fees are used to support:

Funding and Financial Disclosure
Any financial contribution or support received from third parties for a manuscript should be disclosed at the time of initial submission. Should article processing fee be paid by a third party other than the author or the author's institution, authors must provide this information on the title page and ICMJE Disclosure Form.
